Does famous Korean actor Lee Min-ho have greek genes?

Lee Min-ho is originally from North Korea and he has a career as an actor, singer and model.

I never questioned his Korean origin, how could I.

But is it possible that the Asian star has greek genes?

The answer is yes and is obvious.

How did I come to this conclusion?

I first saw this actor recently in the series "The Heirs" and he immediately caught my attention from the first episode.

His face made me curious, his profile wasn't the exactly typical Korean, but he gave me the impression that he's got roots from another ethnicity, mostly Mediterranean.

His nose was thin, straight and bigger than that of most Koreans.

So I started watching all the series this actor was in and my troubling was becoming bigger.

Some time I saw this specific video and my questions were answered.

Lee Min-ho had a greek foot, sign that some ancestor of his was Greek and gave him greek genes.

I'm sure that if the actor has a DNA test he'll be surprised by the results.

What's a greek foot?

In medical terms it's called Morton's toe, in the art of sculpture it is called a Greek Foot.

It's a situation in which the second toe of our foot, the one next to the big one, is longer than the first one.

In normal legs, there are 3 types.
The Egyptian Foot, in which from the bigger to the smallest one there is a straight line and the bigger one is also the longer one, the Roman Foot or square, where everything is horizontal and the Greek Foot as I described before.

But what's the difference with the other types beneath the metatarsals bones? Greek Leg is hereditary!

Unbelievable? Probably not, if it was just that.

The incredible thing is that this "deformity" is associated with Greeks via genes.

Does that mean that anyone who has the second toe bigger than the first one is Greek? YES!!

And that IS unbelievable and is probably the clue that's been tried to become forgotten, and translated into a "bone deformity".

In sculpture, there are countless of evidence of the knowing of this existence on Greeks since the very first years. ALL Greek antiquity statues who are portraying Greek people, have this common thing.

It's not a coincidence that our very ancestors were putting it in their works. They knew they were different and they were showing it. Later Romans, who didn't have their own sculpture education and infrastructure, copied the greek works and the greek foot on their art, but at the same time, not knowing this detail, they saved it for generations to come as it is well known that most of Greek art was destroyed for plenty of reasons.

As a Greek I invite the famous actor to visit our country.

As I make this invitation, I should have him as a guest, as we Greeks do.

Unfortunately I come from a poor family and I could not financially support his visit here as it should be. But I will be glad if one day I find out that Lee Min-ho has visited Greece and met a hidden and unknown till now part of his origin.

Lee Min-ho should visit Greece at least once.
He ought to come and honor his roots, but also to bathe underneath the sun next to the sea under a Greek blue sky.
